Just wondering ....do woman actually have regrets about leaving men like men do about leaving some woman

Reason for asking is that woman tend to move on faster and regret less whereas with men we take longer and regrets tend to creep up

... thats because even a married woman still gets hit on with some dudes actually winning! so if she breaks up anything anywhere there is always a queue waiting to snap her up within the hour.
All she gotta do is take time to sort out her emotional mess and off she goes on.......

I do have regrets but in my case it's more questions of was there anything more I could do or say...... I've also been through a lot in life where I had to go into survival mode (or sit in a corner and feel sorry for myself but this is not my nature) and eventually this survival mode kicks in automatically! If it is something I can't change then I find a way to move on... and Mr JohnBenz it's not because there was a lineup of guys at my door, and guys hitting on me while in a relationship had no effect on me as I am a committed person.... unfortunately it takes two people to commit to make a relationship work....

So yes..... regrets are there in life but the important thing is how you handle them ;)

Have to agree with you. It is not how many time we fall, but how we get up after a fall that matters most.

I differ frim the guys, I am if the opinion that guys recover a lot quicker and finding it a lot easier to move on to their next partner.

But then again, think the reason why there is a split, does play a major role in who recovers quickest.

I disagree that men have a harder time moving on. I tend to do my best to make things work and if that fails, I simply drop it with zero regret and move along. It makes no sense to dwell on what was when it's so much more fulfilling to focus on what is

I don't, I'm just not wired like that, if I did leave someone, it would probably be for an irreconcilable reason

Male or female, it has nothing to do with gender!

If you left someone or they left you and you find yourself years later still looking for better.

That's when we start to regret, why we didn't appreciate what we had.

My advice to any lady out there who has a man with no money, no means of making money but he is good to you and your kids and worships you, keep him and make it work cause you may end up never finding better,

I have never found anyone that comes close to filling my ex's shoes even 50% and now I see how far he has come and how well he is doing now, how awesome his family is and how happy they are.

But society puts pressure on us that a man must provide and pressure from parents and family and friends to lose the loser, causes unhappiness within a relationship, I wish I was strong enough to tell them all to mind their own business!

Maybe one day I will find another good man!

I have no regrets... hubby left me for a young girl... and 2 years later the young girl left him for a younger man... KARMA... lol

Anyway... it was a fantastic marriage doesn't matter how it ended... He asked me to come back, but I moved on and I'm happy on my own... I have NO regrets at all! But he on the other hand, still regret what he did...

I would like to leave my opinion.... I have never regretted leaving a "person" because usually it took a lot of building up of emotions that lead me into making that decision.... But what I do regret, is giving "someone" so much of ME and then later actually getting to see the real person behind the mask!!! That's my only regret.... Putting people on pedestal's and then the disappointment that goes along with it... Thank God I'm in the end of the day the type of person that if you disappoint me I get over you quicker than ever!!! Guess that's my weakness but also my strength... Lessons learned and moving on!!! Don't think it makes a difference what gender you are think it's your character as a human being that makes it different...

I totally share your sentiment, very true and well put! There is absolutely nothing wrong with a role reversal, where the woman is the bread winner and the husband looks after the house and kids - it does not make the husband a loser or less of a man.

Money / Financial Security does NOT buy true happiness in a relationship and neither does traditional roles.
