I was planning a trip to Johannesburg and I thought I would include a younger newer WG in my itinerary. My surprise was that two otherwise charming young ladies (one who has been on the site for four days and the other a few months) rejected to see me when during the phone call I told them my age (which is 70 plus)
So it's not all about the money is it? They must be very busy.
Do the other older guys on the forum find that this happens?

I almost feel that I must apologize for your bad experience. In my opinion they cannot be too busy to see a client.

I have a few clients that are 70 plus. And I have never refused to see them. Age is just a number.

Anyway, I do not ask the gents age, unless he sounds too young.

Hopefully your next trip to Johannesburg will be a better experience.

Sorry to hear of your experience buddy ... touchwood .. haven't happened to me yet but I am sure it is will happen to me when least expected !!!

It is their lost .. think we must just move on if it occurs ... plenty of ladies who will give anything to be in a gentlemen's presence !!!

I sort of know the feeling..... Was rejected/banned from a venue......
No matter what time of day you phoned for any of the ladies, they're always fully booked!

I think that this is a great post, as it points out a fact that we are continually at pains to explain. "Her body, her rules". Right Of Admission Reserved. (Are they being "racist towards old guys"?)

I say Kudos to those girls for saying no upfront. Imagine how horrible the punt would have been if they had ignored their own preference, and gone for it?
I am an older guy and I support the stand taken by these girls. Well done!

I don't see what the issue is.
When guys of colour come here and voice their opinion they are basically told to shut up and sit down. Cos 'her body, her rules'. So whats the diff if she is uncomfortable doing a 70 yo.....her body, her rules.

I dunno if the lady in question is new to the industry? Perhaps inexperienced? Can you imagine a newbie having to do business with someone as old as her grandad? In time she will get used to the industry and see its not all bad and doing a booking with a 70yo is not a big deal But for now, at least she was honest. Doing business with guys you are not comfortable with can be very daunting.

Its not about money its goes to what other person prefers so these lady's were right to say no.
