I've always find attractive ladies a bit threatening.

Can't explain it, since I'm not bad looking and fairly successful.

Just can't help feeling a bit embarrassed and tongue tied.

I am asking this from outside the purple world. As well as in it! This is not about her looks. More about her intellect, skills, determination and capabilities.

Are men threatened by their female counterparts? Is it an ego thing? Do you begrudge a woman being more successful than you?

For me, it's definitely a "looks" thing.

Intelligence, determination, skills I respect and can handle.

I never begrudge a successful lady. To the contrary - since I realise how much harder it is for women to be successful.

But it's you damned pretty ones that turn me into a shy 13 year old.

Not at all. I am confident in myself and my capabilities, and find a "capable" and confident woman rather attractive.

Maybe a bit nervous in the presence of a super intelligent and succesful woman, but threatened no. I have great admiration for them and Id like to see a lot more ladies at the top. Truth be told they are a lot smarter and worked a lot harder than most men to get there.

Not at all!
I thoroughly enjoy their company.
Be it having coffee..dinner..or in bed.

A successful woman is such a turn on!

In one word -- No

The world has changed a lot in my humble opinion. Even though there probably still is discrimination against females in the workplace, I think it is much less than years ago.

I work for a big multinational company and a very large percentage of senior management are females. I have a female boss and we fight every now and again, but it's always work related never personal, and if I had to be very honest I would have to admit that I do admire her and care a lot for her (if anyone tells her that I'll kill them!). I would not trade her for any other boss.

What I do have a problem with are arrogant and egotistical people, whether it be male or female.

Threatened? No, but not because I think less of them.

There is nothing more attractive than an intelligent, independent, confident woman.

Nothing irritates me more than a clingy, needy, lazy woman that just wants a man to take care of her and look after her and provide for her.

Times have changed. In my opinion there is no place in society for the uneducated, typical housewife steriotype anymore.

Life is short. Every person should grab life by the balls and make the most of it.

Not threatened at all. Their is nothing more attractive than a self confident, intelligent and go getter woman for me.
