I was contacted by a person via facebook. We ended up sharing pics on whatsap. The person rhen threatened to share my pics with my friends and family.
The person used the name Michelle.
I lost money as well.
The number the person contacts from is
[number removed by ESA admin ]
Please beware.
I learned a big lesson today.
Lucky the right person crossed my path...

That numbers comes up as 'Blackmailer' on Truecaller.

Do what I did with one of these scamming blackmailers, go to the number's providers store, Vodacom or MTN or whatever, pay them a grand to give you the FICA name, ID, and address of the person, and then go pay them a personal visit with yourself and a few of your friends. Worked like a charm.

Not necessarily a vodacom number. People keep their numbers and port to a different network.

Just checked, the number has not been ported and is still serviced by Vodacom. At least according to the CRDB.
