So, I've been in the industry for two years and before this I worked as an actress being paid large sums of money weekly...
Having money come to me easily I think I developed a disrespect for its value and I grew accustomed to spending recklessly knowing how easy it is to get more..

Recently I started writing down each booking and after finally adding up, the total got my heart beating super fast...

I have no work experience so my options are limited.

Is there a financial advisor here who can help me get my life in order please.

Any responses/advise will be greatly appreciated

Money:
1. Whence it came.
2. Where it went.

Those are the key questions.

Your money has to pass via a bank account before any reputable financial adviser will help you.

Well done LA. Such a great way to realise the importance of nurturing a nest egg. Plus, with your reaction to your basic income ledger, you will feel excited and rewarded each time you deposit / invest.
At your age, a mixture of high risk and safety net type investments is the way to go. Also building up to a base of income generating assets.

You also need to decide on your SARS (the tax type, not the disease type ;-) ) status..

I am not convinced about "financial advisers" and their way of thinking. In this case, advise, as opposed to having some random person "advising" you to invest in Liberty Pension Preservers, and then collecting the admin fee on the purchase, would be more appropriate.
Advise as opposed to broking would work better. Out of the box thinking and in the box commission would work for starters... Know what I mean?

I must admit, my biggest problem is entering the unknown.
I don't do well with making adult decisions.
I am however ready for a complete lifestyle make over

Yikes. I have just committed the ultimate sin. Trusting autocorrect! "Advise" (both of them) should be "advice"

Lovely lady, the simplest and most lasting advice on issues financial is contained in an old classic known as 'The richest man in Babylon'

It is freely available online and is an easy read not filled with jargon. I highly recommend you take the time to go through it
