The fire in front of me causes temporary memory loss of the cold outside. Communing with a bottle of red wine and only the sound of wood cracking in the fire that fills the room. Its getting way too hotnin here, removing my jacket and jersey, off with the shoes.

I turn to my left and there is... absolutely no one! Yup, what a waste of what could've been a very memorable evening... no one ever said life would be fair.

What a monumental loss to sit all alone on a Saturday night. There is a song about it, think it is Cat Stevens singing :
"Another Saturday night and I ain't got nobody. How I wish I had someone to talk to..."

Then we look for company in the bottle of red vino and maybe Bacchus will start talking to you. There is wisdom at the bottom of the bottle, ask me, I am an expert on drinking alone.

Life simply is not fair. I have wine, a winning personality, even a little money, and still life kicks you in the teeth. Just my looks that are suspect, but that we can drink right.
