started punting from this site just about 2009(before signing up). & in my experience I have kind of learned that in most cases where the payment is required to be made upfront, the service usually leaves a bitter taste in the clients mouth.
To those punters who decided to terminate the service, did you get your money back?
To SP's who take money upfront, do you think you would give it back if the punter decided otherwise?

Hi roshta I had bookings in PTA last weekend two guys they've paid upfront but seeing that I can't make it I simply return their money, so I think it depends who you are.

That's beautiful, commendable. I wasn't certainly expecting that answer.

I have never, not even once paid after the service. Am I doing things wrong?
When I get to the room, I count the money in front of the lady then put it on a table or something.

I never take the money upfront. Unless its a travel booking deposit.
Old school rules, still apply! There were loopholes in the legal system that you could dodge if you didn't accept payment upfront. Guess it's just ingrained in me now.
And the understanding of service excellence still applies too. It's the key to return clients and building a regular clientele.

I usually put the money down at the beginning so I can forget about the admin and focus on why I am there... also to avoid awkward glances before leaving where I simply forgot to take out the money

To be honest, I thought it's a general rule to pay upfront. I mean, what would a lady do if a guy don't pay once the deed is done?
Guess you're skilled in Karate for those moments Arz?

Arz, loopholes in the legal system. That's why I put money on a table, and never into hands. It feels like, if I'm cornered by the law, I can say I didn't give her anything. (Silly, I know, but helps me feel better.lol)

If she requests upfront MOSTLY it spells disaster.
But the flipside, Poppy is right, it depends on the individual (girl).
If I see that we don't click or she doesn't like my sight, I suggest i leave. I even tell her that 'clearly we won't get anywhere....'
------
But Poppy, 2 guys as in they were booking a 3-sum with u? So you decided you couldn't handle them or what? What do u mean by 'seeing that i can't make it'?
