The mention of Misogyny, but applying it in broader terms, got me to thinking that it aint a one way stream and misandry has become quite prevelant in society.
Men are ashamed or embarrassed admitting to misogynist tendencies...well, those with character anyway.....while women, openly display their distaste toward men....no shame.
With the rise of womans lib, focus seems to have shifted from a feminine homely non career orientationed female, to a go getter wants to be boss and equal to her male pier type. Is this by choice or have the times dictated a need to adapt?
Men are slandered, openly, from a-z. An article i read implied that society is taught misandry .
Why such open hostility?
Are there valid grounds for such intense rivalry?
Yes rivalry.
Is it that women come into their own, realising their worth and are no longer prepared to play second citizen?
Or is it that over time our mother's mothers, our great great grand grandmothers harboured a deep resentment toward men passed on from generation to generation.
What a pity we forget that men are from mars and woman from venus.
Our hearts beat to a different drum and our eyes see different hues.
A clever woman is one who knows how to make her man feel like he is the king of her castle.
I say...A woman should not compete with her male pier.
Her worth?
Well. It aint defined by his masculinity nor by society.....more on the grounds of how one may see oneself.
I prefer to not be a "woman libber" and rather be treated with kid gloves....like a lady.....the woman God made me.
but......pls dont step on my toes
for
i shan't step on yours.
Respect is a 2 way stream.
