I recently had a client walk out when he noticed a large scar I have on my belly from a burst appendix. This being my first and largest bodily flaw, it took me ages to get used to having it on my body. I don't hide it and I feel that it's a scar to be proud of because it's a reminder that I beat death, but some clients have made me feel embarrassed about it and it isn't something I could have prevented or that I even wanted.

Have you ladies experienced anything similar?

I assume that the said client was an Adonis, perfect in every way.

This, in my opinion, does not indicate perfectionism, but rather a complete lack of self confidence and awareness of the client. Hold your head high. You made peace with your scar and it is part of the wonderful you.

Maybe he was just intimidated by your "hotness" 😉

I wish Q, Lol. He actually acted like I'd deceived him in my advertising or something. Should I include it in my wording or take a big close up pic in my picture sets, Lol. I'm at the point of not caring about it and it doesn't sum me up as a person or sexual being to the best of my knowledge but suddenly this one imperfect person is making me feel hideous. Amazing how something that stupid can affect ones self esteem.

Hi Boo!

I have been pondering the same question of late, specially because we are in an industry where men seek the perfect, young, hot, toned, and sexy, physical body. They are visually stimulated?

Don't let one man's perception of your physical appearance ever make you feel less of the beautiful, spectacular woman you are!

There is no single perfect human, including punters.

But learning to love our imperfections and those of others, makes us real. Your body is just a vehicle for your soul! And you have a beautiful soul.

I want to know the soul and the heart that drives that body... I want to know the hardships and heartaches that you endured to weather the storms that brought you to this day!

And I know what you have been through as you know what I have been through!

We still here, we still hold our heads high! And we can be so proud, because we did it! We still doing it! On our own!

My last shoot I did, was in honour of all woman.
I chose to be simple, just a g string and heels. I exposed my flaws. Because I am proud of them. I earned them. Every line, wrinkle, stretch mark and scar.

They are my map to my life I have lived! It's my journey and I own it! No one can take it away from me!

You are beautiful inside and out!

And if a client doesn't like what he see's when he meets me. I would rather he leaves. I want a genuine connection with someone, not someone who feels they doing me a favor.
Time is precious. Spend it with those that value it!

Mwah

@Vee, if anyone looks at your pictures carefully they will notice that you don't hide any "imperfections", which I put in inverted commas since it doesn't make you ugly, it makes you human, since nobody is perfect. I also love the fact that you wear it with pride and draw strength from it. It's inspiring.

"Should I include it in my wording or take a big close up in my picture sets?" Hell no don't be silly, if you do I'm gonna expect other big close up pics or parts that I'd like as well.

Hmmm maybe not a bad idea lol.

He was one one how many who were more than happy with the full package, dont let shit like that get to you, I know it's a bit of a knock to the self esteem, but then again no one is perfect you know. My personal view on markings and scars are that they're quite cool, they reflect the character of ones body.

@Arz, don't think more can be said, you've summed it up perfectly.

You would not by any chance be referring to that minor little mark on your stomach next to the tattoo?

As I could not be bothered to get a gold membership to get the larger picture and had to zoom in greatly at the moment so cannot see anything major wrong but if you are referring to to that then that is not a scar, I have cut myself worse than that shaving. As a person that have many scars all over my body, none of which I am ashamed off cause behind each one is a lesson learned. I am ashamed of the extra large barrel sized drooping belly, but not one of my scars all I can say is IGNORE IDIOTS.

I responded with regards to something very personal, but decided not to for fear of being ripped to shreds by certain parties.

@Arz, thank you! We all need to find beauty in the mirror and inside ourselves if we are to face the world on a daily basis. Loving yourself is crucial to receiving love from others!
