Advertisers are not satisfied with clogging the "Punter Reviews: Venues & Clubs" with noise, now we are clogging up the General forum too.

Mods, these type of posts don't contribute anything to the discussions, and if we lose this forum, then we will have to go elsewhere.

So, please moderate, or better still, create a "Desperate Mindless People Who Wanna Advertise All Day, Everyhere and Anywhere And Who Cant Read" section and confine them to it before we are swamped.

So do I. It's called freedom of speech. They pay to advertise, how they do it is their business.

Paying advertisers advertising, seems logical !

Also agree, nothing wrong in them promoting their venue.

As to the others who see utility in advertising, I don't have a problem with the ads -- that is why we are here. Yes, that includes you. And thank you for reminding me that, just in case, one day I have a baby daughter and in a flash of patriarchal amnesia, cannot remember my favourite WG's name, I too might find utility in this type of post.

if there's no ads nobody knows, because then there's no reviews either. Few of the list (if any?) have an ad here, and I should be tempted by mentioning a name only? I'd think an ad in Die Beeld is as reliable, and as fun as blind dating, and.... etc.
Diving in at the deep end becomes same as breaking an ankle at the shallow end, as one dives blind. Anno 2015 that's a bit shallow, pun on purpose, as a simple ad here will tell & show tales.
