Comparing different ways of getting sex taking into account the value of my time lost in pursuing "leads" and keeping the relationship going. I came to some really surprising results. In short, punting was the cheapest mode of getting sex, mainly because there is little wastage in time or gifts. My results:

mode of getting sex - cost per shag - assumptions

sugar baby - R900 - R2500 per month "allowance", sex 2x per week
girlfriend - R2600 -
wife - R9000 -
swingers club - R1350 - huge investment in time to get decent pussy.
punting - R800 - I rarely pay more than R500 per encounter but it takes some time to find and drive to the lady, which accounts for the additional cost.

So it seems in terms of cost, punting is the best value for money and wifey needs to get a job! The next best in terms of cost is the Sugar Baby but for R100 I can do without the extra kak that comes with the territory.

OBVIOUSLY this is going to be different for all guys because our time is not worth the same and some peoples wives actually give sex routinely.

At your calculations a sugar babe is R2,500 / 4 weeks / 2 times per week = R312.50 per once off. Better then punting. However without the shit in between.

The sugar babe works out to R900 per shag including cost of time and presents. the R2500 per month is only the cash allowance, I estimated the wasted time being sweet and nice and flowers and all that kak triples the cost-to-punter. I doubt that the sugar babes are exclusive, they are probably just young WGs giving a volume discount.

I would say you have way underestimated the value.

The only way to get a real cost for the wife is to ask someone who has got divorced.
Then you can see the real amount that the wife was costing you.

that is a good point. I did not include divorce costs. I worked it out at how much my wife costs me that I would not have otherwise spent and divide that by the number of times I get sex (which is not a lot). But you are right, I need to factor in a divorce too. WGs are starting to look like a bargain!

There is another category missing here, the bar, gym or club pick up. Now there is work involved here and there can be significant costs with the alcohol, drinks bill, membership fees etc. But it is a category worthy of mention. However I digress…

What if the wife has a decent job? Mine certainly doesn’t need any money from me. Obviously she gets some in the form of gifts, holidays and so on but as for requiring cash she earns enough.

Girlfriend, like above, if she has a decent job then the cost is negligible.

Sugar babes, I need a brain with my pomp and find that poppsies who are willing to pomp for gifts tend to be a little lacking in this regard. Nice for a night but not for more. Maybe it’s just my experience but they are not an option for me

Punting, well in the absence of a decently employed wife, then in terms of pure economics then that’s the way to go.

Personally, my punting tends not to be for the need of a pomp and more a desire to try something new and different, or a little something when Mrs Le Roux and myself are going through one of our battles. So I find punting to be an economically viable supplement to my sex life.

I agree with Le Roux, this thread is very subjective. There are always threads that want to point out how much cheaper it is to punt than have a wife/girlfriend. My lady is very independent and I wouldn't have it any other way. Would never be with someone who can't look after themselves. Sure I spoil her, but it goes both ways. And everything is split down the middle, plus she has her own assets. The days of being with someone that you have to look after is coming to an end fast. Punting to me is therefore more expensive and just a way of savouring the different tastes that are out there.
