Ok so I have been studying SA non about 10 hours a day for the past 5 days...

I have come to the conclusion that the Afrikaners were the ones responsible for SA's bad past.

Why did they not realize that segregation by race was the future of the world? Every other country was letting races intergrate way before the apartheid ended.

I am just saying Afrikaners have no one but themselves to blame that SA has not performed well over the past 20 years and that Financial/Economical segragation occurs in every country in the world today.

I understand the need of segragation based on income and capital (just like in USA, England, Brazil, Israel, Russia, Saudi Arabia, China).

Poor people needing visas to go to other states (china).
Rich gated homes (usa and most devolping countries).

Every country has rich and poor parts.

SA could have kept there beaches mostly white (but only middle/upper class)by just charging a fee to use the beach!

Why didn't the Afrikaners realize in 1990-1994 that a middle/upper class black man is greater for the nation than a lower class white man?

Whites make out 9.5% of the population. Less than half that number is Afrikaners. Black africans make out 76% of the population. It is amazing how only 5% can be responsible for the bad recent past....If the effort of only 5% can over shadow the effort of 75%, WOW, then the 5% must be amazing citizens. For your information Crazybobo, your country USA supported the Apartheid South African government. Your country USA even listed Nelson Mandela as 'terrorist' who needed special visa to vist your country. This lable was removed just before the 2008 American elections.

Before blaming Afrikaners, bear in mind that the West also supported and benefited from Apartheid.
