Good Morning

So yesterday I spent most of the evening with one of my regular clients and often I get complimented. But this one stood out, because this is actually something I find attractive in others...

I was told that I am extremely warm, incredibly professional and that there is nothing sleezy about me at all... from conversations on the phone, to the moment my clients leave, my delivery is tasteful and classy. But I exude warmth and have such good energy.

In the last year I have considered more and more how I make others feel. Not just in my sessions, but in general.

Maya Angelou said it best, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."

Oh... and I am a foot guy, so second to this has been that my size 7's drive my foot lovers crazy. Keep a look out for my PG photos ;)

I think sometimes we not as graceful as we could be when accepting compliments.

Been in this game so long, but I still blush when complimented, silly but true.

Sometime we will brush it off as people saying the right things, as a means to an end, sad but true.

I think one of the most sencere and non superficial compliments I ever got was from a gentleman that said...

"I love your aura, your energy that you radiate"

Somehow I felt seen in that moment, not for the body that contains me , but for me;)

I felt that compliment to be so warm and so genuine that it kinda caught me off guard, and it and my reaction to it, even promted me to post a thread about how we as SPs view and accept compliments.

@Miss Red here is a genuine compliment from my heart to yours...

I often mention that you were the first person to show me kindness on this site; I still appreciate that first inbox I received. I always look out for your comments or posts.

I feel we should genuinely celebrate people more often and highlight what we admire in each other as a collective. Not just in our line of work. Sincerity is scarce and I find authenticity and respect incredibly attractive, not just in a sexual way.

We all just want to feel seen. I do a daily gratitude list, because I know in each day there is a blessing we overlook. But how often do we overlook those in our lives? The small acts of kindness that we receive... those generally hold the biggest impact.

It is wonderful to visit a SP and then become friends, even if the friendship may require more building. Such a friendship includes compliments by both parties.

I gave this compliment to one particular lady, and it still remains true
- and I don't think one can improve the compliment with whatever more clever words
" you are simply the best"

I wonder if she will read this thread, yet if she does, she will remember it, and o yes I sincerely meant every word of this simple and short statement.
