In this specific instance the party used an internet café and we where still able to trace them.

Ed will not say to whom this refers as he has been served a summons and can not speak the exact names and or aliases of the parties in question.

So that leave it to the detectives on the forum to figure out whom they maybe. Since this happened yesterday the offending party may have still been logging on. So it will be interesting to see how suddenly disappears from posting. As well this is just twisted enough to make the news. I will say which ever of the Advertisers that brought the action, I must give credit to as this brings her real identity out as well.

My lawyer has often told me that the hardest thing to prove is defamation of character which in my view is very much similar to this case. Even if you have the proof it is up to you to prove and quantify the damages. Thats the hardest part. All I can say to both parties is that alot of lawyers should tell you that if you are willing to lose you shirt to principle then be prepared to lose your pants to costs. Indeed defamation of character is very hard to prove.

In this instance the damage is done, nothing needs to be proved. I think the person has obtained the desired effect whether intended or by accident. If a lawyer was involved probably intended.
