Although not a holiday, it's actually a very good and lucky day for me contrary to popular belief that it's somehow cursed. Does anybody have superstitious beliefs or experiences associated with this day too?

Superstitions, pah! Nonesence!
Yet I still throw spilt salt over my shoulder, Het the heebijeebies if I see shoes on a table and say "birdy birdy please be nice and kind" if a bird flies in to the house.
I'll walk under ladders till the cows come home, don't give a damn about back cats, and will treat today the same as any other day but the above ones have been with me since childhood.
