I think all you can do is add a comment on to the profile which you reveiwed explaining how the review came to be... or what you would change on the review. I guess as long as the points raised are explained clearly it should not be an issue.

Agree. I think it's the only way. ESA never accept my requests to delete my reviews. So instead of that, I deleted the requests which were sent to ESA in my outbox after a few days...
