i have been punting for a few years but in the last year it was getting out of control. i needed it more often up to three times a week and financially it was crippling me, but the desire was to strong ,like a drug addict looking for his next high. i fucked up and started taking money from work to satisfy my addiction and like it is .it caught up to me. i paid back what i took and resigned and no charges was brought against me. I am now going to seek some help about my addiction and get my life in order for now my whole family suffers for what i did. no one knows why i took the money that i will keep to myself but this has been a wake up call for me.I never thought it would lead to this but punting became a disease to me.just want to warn the men out there to be careful and punt wisely

Wow @Frank- thanks for sharing, feel your pain and hope you able to get that help you require. Sober warning to all of us- if you think it's out of control, then it is.

Hectic! But Pontix, if someone is addicted to this "lifestyle" and is still on the forum, then he hasn't managed to kick the habit......

I agree with Frank punting is a major addiction. I have been down the road where I had to punt 3 to 4 times a week and broke my bank balance. I stopped for about a year know I try keep it two ones every two week but sometimes I go ones a week.
Good luck frank we believe that you will get through this

I reckon first prize is to get off the forum completely.
I did that for a couple months and it helped.

Try getting a job in Saudi. Nothing to do there but work and pray. No wg's there, guaranteed...
No seriously, some of us have addictive personalities. Whether it's alcohol, gambling, substances, hookers, whatever, it's the same reward response that gets triggered in the brain. If you need help, there's no shame in admitting it and getting it before you totally fuck things up.

@Frankthepora ,As a ex gambling addict (6 years clean )I know what you going through ,the first step in recovery is admitting you have a problem which is what you have done .Their are sex groups like GA and AA that meet weekly ,if you like I could try get a number for you .Beating these diseases requires life style changes so you will need to make some wholesale changes .Worst thing is as addictive people its easy to switch to another addiction which in my case has happened but fortunately not as financial crippling the gambling was .
