Can't one just use common sense and judgement when reading reviews. A person with an habitual addiction to forum usage and reviews is a far better source of reliable information than a same day, poorly written, new review by new user.

Not all new reviews are rubbish though.

Plus some of the obvious BS reviews are amusing.

I know a punter that is rather active on the forum from time to time.

When he first visited me he was _____.

Then he did a enquiry he was------.

Then he chatted to me and said he was #@+&#

When he eventually booked the second time around he was ****

And I see his profile has. Been deleted.

When I asked him why the so many user names he said he was trying to stop punting.

Not sure if he is active under another username or off for a bit till the bug bites him again.

This is exactly how we feel about it. Our brains are far superior to any computer procedure we can conjure up.

I also think that selfies are fun, they tell a lot plus weigh (for me) heavily for Go or Nogo decisions.
They may be confusing though for casual visitors, and your (ESA) suggestion perhaps has some merit - make posting only possible after 1 week maybe? Will prevent spur-of-the-moment single-post members I think.
