There is not much the police can do about adult services unless they find you in the act of exchanging money for sexual services... the only way they can do anything really is look for drugs and illegal aliens and human trafficking and tax issues.

Having said that, I fully support the decriminalisation / legalisation of the sex business precisely to keep the scum out and so that the legit ones can do their business in peace and protected from abovementioned scum.

I agree, but I believe it will result in the government taxing us so high in order to line their pockets and discourage prostitution, therefore, the majority of us won't even bother getting registered. I don't think that legalisation will make a difference to the sex industry really and it will give them cause to raid us and check if we are illegal sex workers then either charge us or take bribes anyway! One would need a good legal system in order to make something like that effective, which we obviously do not have!

This is exactly what happened in Australia, both the punter and the working girls now get screwed by the government and the sex investors as the government regulation of the industry is so onerous they actually need investors to open venues...fuck that keep it illegal and exciting, i don't want to have to pay Jacob Zuma and his useless fucking cronies another cent...
