There was only one TV channel, and it was on from about 5pm to 12 midnight I think.

- American TV shows were dubbed in africaans and you had to tune your radio to get the English audio; and hope to shit that it is in sync

After watching the EGO deodorant advert where a dude fell in a manhole and land between a harem of beautiful ladies and getting pampered. Walking past open manholes was never the same again...

1. There was no local hit parade, we had to listen the LM hit parade on a Sunday night. (David Davies was the DJ.)
It was on LM radio from Mozambique.
