Hey buddy. I'm still here...peeing less cos my prostate was also repaired. It was a double op of strangulated hernia and prostate repair. Hectic on a 64 year old male.

Sorry about derailing thread but exact prob also prostrate issue but my surgeon says both couldn't be done together. The prostrate apparently causes the hernias. My prostrate much improved on meds. Hopefully I can avoid that drama . I'm competitive runner so the recovery period an issue for me. Thanks for your kind words Mr ExxonMobil.

The surgeon advised to get it done at once and get it over and done with, I feel better but still sore getting up to pee. It also makes you so constipated so I asked for laxative and they gave me too much that i befouled my bed. Mexican Nurses came in to clean me up. Told them to give me sth to stop me from pooping or I was going to befoul their precious bed again. They listened to me. lol.
