Well said.

Yes we not only have our own things to pay.
Because i work private, i have double the expenses of a normal household (Yes its my choice to offer my clients the privacy they deserve).
Everything went up paying more for water and electricity because I like my clients to take a shower before and after the session.
I would never let my clients use another clients towels or bedding that's full of cum stains and oils.
(That's why I do washing till 12 at night to ensure everything is clean for the next day)
So yes we do ask our own prices but look what you get for the price....
Quality not quantity. ....
[/QUOTE]

Meg you took that right out of my mouth, well said and i absolutely agree.

Oh don't get me wrong. I actually did spend 3500 on a punt and it was not worth it. It should of only been around 1200 like the rest of the quality girls. Why should we the customer pay for someone else's lifestyle especially when it's luxury. This industry being one of the oldest is based on good business sense. So it's common knowledge to rethink the circumstance when setting a pricing strategy that's competive there's no shame in offering a better rate and a better service. There's no shame in being honest in relation to price and service. There's no shame in telling the truth when you have put down the investments with zero returns. There's no shame in advising service providers in offering a better rate. The four major banks in South Africa compete purely on rates. The rate determines a concluded deal. The economy is driven by rates. Interest rate. Repo rates. Inflation rates etc.
From other punter's comments "money is tight" ... New brand of Cigarette companies have emerged that sell a pack of 20's for 10 rands. Consumers have turned to these cigarettes and are quite happy. Similarly new girls will emerge with new service offerings suited for the punters pocket under the current market forces. Adapt.

I agree with your no-shame views. But it is is shameful to try and bullie the ladies into a lower price so that you can enjoy your luxury at the exspense. That is not just shameful. It is actually dispicable.

I disagree...I charged a certain fee for years, clients never complained or had issue. Then working at Joys place, I lowered my fee slightly and excluded greek and marketed it as an extra. Big mistake. I can't say why but suddenly i was finding business hard to sell. I've returned to my old higher fee structure and I no longer have that issue. Maybe clients can shed some light on this.

Veronica I can identify with your experience, because I experienced something similar in one of my retail businesses. I initially used to sell the products at a low price and charged extra for shipping.

The customers started complaining about having to pay extra for shipping and the fact that the shipping cost was sometimes more than the product, due to the low price of the product. Sales dropped a lot.

I then decided to increase the product price and I also added the shipping cost to the product price, thereby making the product price much more expensive and selling it as "free" shipping. Amazingly, even though this made the product price much more expensive, sales increased tremendously and I have not received a single complaint again.

Conclusion: It is all about the perception of getting "ripped off", when additional fees are charged for "extras" - no matter how much the extras cost. In my opinion, generally the consumer prefers being charged an all inclusive price, this is true in all industries, including this industry.

All the years that I have been in this industry, I have always charged an inclusive fee and I never offer specials or discounts. This has always worked very well for me and it still does.

Now you tell me as a seasoned punter how is it justifiable to spend 3500 on one interaction when previously we could get 4 interactions from a good quality girl.

Price go up it is called inflation.

When I started smoking as a 10 year old boy, the price of a packet of smokes was about 25c. When I stop smoking 2 years ago, I paid R30.00 for that same packet. That is 120x more than when I started.

How can you expect the same price year after year. Really do you guys think that Rent, creams, towels and whatever these ladies need to pay to provide you with a service, and still be able to support their families are free of inflation or vat increase.

Please be realistic. If you can afford the toys then don't buy it. Do not try and okay on these ladies minds to accommodate your needs to their and theircfamilies disadvantage. And you want to call yourself a Gentlemen when doing this, I am ashamed at bring associated with men like this.

jjsoap you are so right. Except that your cigarette price increased 1200%.
Bargain hunters there will always be.
I have never seen that Ferrari or Lamborghini are offering "special price" ever. But Nissan, Toyota, etc all do that. They all got 4 wheels. And trust me you don't get any of the above at the same price as 5 years ago. Lots of girls haven't increase their prices for years. But the cost of living didn't stand still.
So...for the guys that except that girls have to increase their prices to keep up with the cost of living. Great on you.
The others have become bullies. Shame on you.

A little bit of perspective:

2010: My hourly rate was R800 all inclusive for wg services with no massage services on offer.
My rental on my studio was R4000 excl water and electricity. I did not live at my studio, so in addition to the overheads of the studio, I still had to cover the costs of transport to and from work, running my personal home, rates and taxes, children's college fees and so on.

2018: My hourly rate for services with a "happy ending", is R700 for my sensual touch massage treatment and R900 for my sensual combo massage treatment.
My rental on my studio is R6000 excl water and electricity. I do not live at my studio. So in addition to the overheads of the studio, I still have to cover the costs of transport to and from work, running my personal home, rates and taxes and so on and the cost of living has gone up tremendously in the past 8 years...

Conclusion: In 8 Years my fee has only increased by R100 for adult related services and my one treatment offering is actually R100 less than my 2010 hourly rate, yet the cost of living has increased tremendously. By rights I should be charging a lot more than what I am currently charging and I certainly will not lower my price to less than what I charged 8 years ago (the justification for charging R100 less on my sensual touch treatment, is that less is on offer in terms of services) - if anything, I may increase it in the very near future. My business is consistent and I am so far still doing reasonably well, despite not offering specials and discounts. The only difference between now and 2010, is that my disposable income has become less, due to the increased cost of living.

Normal rates stop applying to these ladies and their lives become a succession of specials because no one is willing to pay her worth any longer.

Have to agree with this. Running specials (regularly) is unfortunately digging a hole where the lady canot get out of eventually. The special prices does become "normal price"....and the moment the lady try to go back to her normal prices the punters who visited her is just going to look for another special elsewhere (because they got used to the low price).

That is how people work. See the book : "How people work...for Dummies"

(Just saw this have been said before....sorry.)

@Ninjaboy: "The usual 800 for one hour fh is now gone up to 1200 and 1400. "

That's it!

We all think we are worth so much more. Even in normal working life, i have still to find an employee arguing he is over-payed or just even fairly paid. We all think we are worth so much more.

The point is, although this is a generalization one should look after their clients , for if not, not only will you loose one client, but he'll tell his friends and they may not come either. In my case, this is what happened and my friend who I had told to visit, is definately not going there either, as I'll never put my foot back their again too.

And that friend can also be ESA LOL

I don't think one can put a price on selling ones (body) time.
Everyone on earth is worth something.
No amount of money should be placed on someone's head to know your worth something.

I feel if you putting in the effort and keeping your clients happy:
1: By not rushing you bookings
2: Dressing up and looking good and clean for your clients
3: Making you client your number one priority and give him the time he paid for.
4: Offer a safe and secure house/venue where nothing will happen to his or your personal belongings.
5:(Now this is for the clients ) Don't push the boundaries where it comes to the ladies rules.
Rules needs to be set for both parties to enjoy each other's company.
Dont force someone to do something she's/his not comfortable with.

Yes this is a job.
This isn't and believe me THIS ISN'T A EASY JOB.

When you balls are empty and you had your way(booking)..remember we still sit at night thinking jis we do everything we can for this men...they will never be satisfied with what we have to offer.
It's like VF said it's the most unappreciated job and life out there for us ladies.
And could be the most loneliest one too; we are the most judged people (job wise) out there.
We can't talk to friends; family anyone....It's truly a lonely life!

So have respect....
Your business and tribute toward this booking can make or break a lady.

Yes I do what I can to accommodate my clients.
But I'm not willing to break my rules for any client.
If my no is no...don't try and convince me your money is more worth then my body or my mind.

If I don't want to see clients because I don't offer FH; then it's my choice to say No and loosing money over a decision I made..so be it.

PS: and that's the only reason I'll be quite for the day.
Or when I have personal matters to attend too.

Have a great Saturday everyone.
