Summit's a cool place. Safe and secure. Plenty chicks to check out and no one is too pushy. Go private in a booth or upstairs to the room. Tip nicely for a really relaxed experience and still will cost you less than a standard escort. Parking across the road is secure and just keep your wits about you between car and venue.

I have been going there lately. I do feel that you have to be careful but it is not as bad as people make it out to be. Here are some tips on safety that might help:
1) Get there by going left at the corner of Joe Slovo and Honey street - my GPS used to take me to Claim street from the CBD side as opposed to from the Rocky street side - I find that if you go down Honey street then it is not as scary as going there from the CBD side
2) I get there at about 18h00 and try and be out of there by 21h00
3) Get the security guard to walk you across the road from their parking
4) Once inside the club, it is completely safe and I have not once felt uncomfortable or unsafe there
In terms of the girls, if you are not into black or Thai girls then you are wasting your time. If you are into black girls then there is a lot to choose from.
Enjoy and as Breakingsurf said - keep your wits about you when you go there and the chances are that you will be fine
