I have not read all the posts in this thread and I maybe don't understand exactly how it is all going to happen. Unfortunately as with many threads on this forum there is a red herring or two making a fishy smell. I am stuck here behind the Chardonnay curtain. Is it possible to put down the K and be in an auction as a sort of blind entry to collect/be collected at a later date if that elusive visit to Gauteng happens. The girls may of course be apprehensive to bid for an unknown entity but then the charity would gain. On the other hand the visit to Gauteng might not happen and she gets away with a sort of a freebee. Maybe also there are other in the same position of being unable to attend. Let me know.

Let me shed some light on this confusion.

You will need to bring 1000.00 rand to the venue for entrance this will go straight to the Jakaranda Children's home. Unfortunately due to scams and so forth we cannot accept anything else. They do not have card facilities at the venue. Fortunately there is a Atm around the corner.

You will need another 1000.00 to be part of the auction. Where the ladies will bid on you. Where you get to spend an hour with them. They will bid lower and lower and the difference will go towards charity.

You need not be part of the auction but it is highly advised that you do smiley face wink wink.

There will be many another activity running through the event with wonderful prizes up for grabs.

Trust me when I say you will get your money's worth and also the warm fuzzy feeling of contributing to a good cause.
