@Kelly K: there's an old saying "The lady doth protest too much, methinks"

I'm modern English it translates to "the lady complains too much, I think"

It is afigure of speechoriginally found as a quotation from the playHamletbyWilliam Shakespeare. It is used in everyday speech to indicate doubt in someone's sincerity.

So what I'm saying is when you do complain it would be more credible if you didn't go into it at such length.

@Poppy: to be honest I wasn't that keen on Shakespeare. I hated the Tempest but was fortunate enough to like Julius Caesar after my mother who taught English Literature read it to me properly and suddenly everything became crystal clear so I managed a distinction at my GCSE. Turns out my literature teacher in school was a dud;
good teachers are so important. Maybe I should send my son to you forvsome pointers ! He's doing Coriolanus. And that's without the space between the 'l' and the 'a'...

This is a dumb thread to start off with. Having managed several houses I know how things can be. If a lady doesn't fit in she ruins the vibe of the house. So its best to ask her to leave. Finish en klaar.
If a lady finds the place is not to her liking, leave There are plenty of places looking for ladies. Or has she burned too many bridges?

Well said Ms Nads...

Thank you...
