On discoursing with the Kentucky coal miners on the beauties of Cellini's art on his American tour , Oscar Wilde informed them that Cellini was long dead.
WHO SHOT HIM ? the coal miners demanded to know .

This would have been a perfect place for Oscar Wilde if he were with us today. Wilde celebrated all things that embraced sexually and freedom of expression, it's just so sad that he ended up doing hard labour because he was gay. It's so nice that we've come so far isn't it?
'There is nothing unnatural about it. It is intellectual, and it repeatedly exists between an older and a younger man, when the older man has intellect, and the younger man has all the joy, hope and glamour of life before him.'
Oscar Wilde

[quote]The unnatural Vice among the Men appears to me to owe its vehemence to the same Cause; they cannot talk of this internal Torment, so after having glutted their vile Imaginations for some Time; the Senses take Alarm, & burst out with uncontrollable Frenzy: as in Lady Fanny Burgoyne’s Footman, who attacked a grave Man of 50 years old in a gross Manner even before his Lady’s Face at the very Chariot door. The Scotch seem strangely addicted to this Enormity,.....[unquote]

Be Thankful
'Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons. Be thankful when you're tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference.
It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.'
