As jess suggested the cancellation fee and pay back the rest. I think thats a fair move. Everything is all about principle and it goes for the SP and punter too.

So...my 2c:

The punter is a deceitful doos. But just because he is a deceitful doos doesn't mean that you're entitled to keep his money. Yes, he wasted your time and effort getting ready etc., so a cancellation fee is appropriate, but at the end of the day no service was rendered, so the balance should be refunded.

Angie is not some authority who gets to decide who gets 'fined' for being a doos. Just because she found herself in a position to be able to enforce that penalty in this case (by virtue of the pre-payment), does not mean she has a right to do so, however much of doos the punter is.

Lastly...Angie, what's really hurting your image is the fact that you said you would refund him and have now gone back on that. Have some integrity and stick to your word, don't sink to his deceitful level.

(And to who ever said Angie would probably win if this was able to go to small claims court - there is absolutely no chance. She would be awarded some compensation for prep/time wasted but have to refund the bulk of it)

Hehehe... sure.

First time punter paid before I think, we had the appointment.

2nd time Punter offered to Pay for flight ticket. We agreed on price. He paid it. I booked ticket.he asked for Bareback. I refunded.

3rd time different number booked appointment. Paid the morning. Showed up at 5pm. And the rest is history.
