I actually have a real sick-note, not that scribblings that my staff produces on Fridays and Mondays not stating what the fuck is wrong with them. Just says Piet Pompies is not fit for work. You can still wash my car or answer the phone or make coffee. If I had to use that excuse with the number of babbies that I had, then I will be on permanent sick leave. Sorry, just had to rant a little.

Friday fortnight?? Im no human resources expert...but that sounds purely coincidental to me.

It is amazing these one day health problems my staff experience. So glad to hear it is not just me. And they know so well that they can take 36 days in a 3 year cycle. It is as if they think that it is additional to the 21 days holiday leave that they already getting. So it is actually 5 and a half weeks per year between sick leave and holiday leave that they are not at work. And don't forget the famous halfday specials :
1.) I must collect my pills.
2.) I must see the dentist.
3.) I must go to my child's school.

Those supposedly half days turn into full days so quickly.

Why am I working like a dog and they cruise ?
