Apologies if my post came across in a negative manner. My intention was to point out that one should be cautious of taking things that the body might not need.

I have a client who thought that he had developed a food allergy, but upon investigation it turned out that he had introduced maca into his pre-workout shake because a friend was using it. The symptoms went away after he stopped taking it.

Anyway, that's it from me on this thread.
