This past few days I really had some unpleasant phone calls from clients.

Sir if my rates aren't in your punting budget.....move on to the next lady that could accommodate you in your R300 budget.
Or if my services isn't what you looking for don't tri and convince me for more money or keep on pushing me to make a exception.

Please don't be rude and just put the phone down in my ears.

Some people really need to UP there telephone manners!
If you rude to me over the phone how are you going to treat me in my session with you?

I will mark your number for future reference.

I have the decency to answer your call and all your questions in a friendly professional manner.

Respect is earned not just given from both sides of the conversation.

Kind regards......not just another service provider.

Meg I think many SP's have had this problem, due to the economic situation. In saying that, it does not mean that clients should try and change or work ethics, or squeeze the last drop of blood out of us.

As you said, respect is two sided. Not only in this industry, but other jobs/positions as well.

Hang in there ladies!

Meg I get that too only when the communication channels are in retrograde. Miscommunication defeats the whole purpose, prudence and patience is very thin. Before one gets to explain anything the call is dropped in your ear then frustration follows.

Your message is loud and clear and hopefully for the next few months you'll be receiving patience and understanding and honoured bookings. All the best Megastar!

We should just smile and wave ladies.
Stick to your guns and don't break your own rules.

And Mila when people force you to speak Afrikaans tell them would you mind talking with me in my mother tongue?
I would love to talk to you where we mutually understand each other.
It's rude to say the least.
English is a language that most understands.
Heads up ladies.... we know why we here, some days will go beta then others.
Don't loose yourself in the process.

I do think clients push the girls to do things out of the norm now that the economy has hit rock bottom.
We are more open to do business and things we never done because we need it to survive.
And thats how they take advantage.

No just don't entertain the client by being rude.
Politely ask him to speak English so there is no communication problems
