Looks like the aussies are learning from the Chinese. Yup big brother is here. Using the covid as an excuse to increase monitoring of all of us. Like what the US did with the patriot act. Used terrorism as an excuse to spy on people without providing legitimate reasons to do so

The funniest thing is this is not new,
We live in South Africa and you cant go into a lot of the following with out being on camera

a Supermarket
a restaurant
a hotel
a police station
an office block
a hospital
a school
a casino
a night club
a racetrack
the Gautrain
a train station
a doctors office
and many many more

they only thing we lack as opposed to say London (where you are never ever not on camera) is street cameras

we have been watched for years and years and trying to use this to give your unfounded conspiracy theories some credence is laughable

as for secret global shadowy societies, they have been talked about for centuries even going back as far as the Knights templars and not one has succeed in taking over the world

in fact there is more chance of Pinky and the Brain taking over the world
