Don't double book
Firstly, you are putting some one else through an experience you dislike (intentionally)
Secondly, it is then your reputation that is affected.
Build up a pool of reliable SPs that you know won't cancel and stick to them. Or keep a venue backup in hand.

As you said her reason could be valid. Now you think to do the same to a lady but just because you dont not sure about your first booking.
So dont double book. There maybe some option if she cancel.
Im the same as you. Planed my booking ahead. Sometimes even 2weeks to a month. I usely take then a days leave and if the lady cancelled I understand your frustation. But luckly for me the 6 years I am punting, it only happen 3 times with me and all 3 times they had a vallid excuse. And then there was also another 3 ladies that just didnt answer their phone when I am near their place.
So for 6 years and only 6 times, 3 with good excuses, I dont think its something to worry about. Most of the ladies hear is geniun.
So dont double book. There maybe some option if she cancel.

Thanks for the feedback.
Was not a problem before WFH - rescheduling was not a hassle. However I am now seeing an increase in last minute cancellations from the ladies and my schedule is just not flexible.
I don't generally like venues - but that may be the way to go ....

I'm always pursuing the unknown but I do so when everyone else is without a cent or out of time even though I have over 40 WG's on standby 24/07/365,5 as I've listed here that will do whatever the fuck I say whenever the fuck I say it:
