Language changes over time. Might I suggest using a term that a broader audience will understand? The purpose of these forums is not to elevate the eloquence of the users or improve their language skills, but to make your meaning clear. Smaller, more common words achieve a far greater impact on a site such as this.

I shall continue to express myself on this forum in whichever I choose.

Damn it, so a couple of weeks ago I fell off the wagon and drank heavily for 3 weeks, it felt like I lost everything I worked so hard for. I felt depressed, self loathing and generally just shit for stuffing up again. I picked up the pieces, got back in the gym and back into AA, it's never too late to start over and admit that no one chooses to be an addict and mistakes can be corrected.

2 weeks sober again and feeling great. I even got tattoo'd with the serenity prayer and here it is if you're ever feeling weak:

Grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change the things I can
and the wisdom to know the difference

This is awesome! I never ever came into this side of the site...I love all of your guys honesty...reminds me that everyone is human and we all struggle with something and its really cool that theres some form of support here :)

True, Amber. My struggle's also with alcohol. And being in this trade is not conducive to sobriety. I so much wanted to go with a friend to the social at the Harem, but I can't, I dare not.

Thanks for the support guys, my intention for the post is purely to motivate others in the struggle with addiction. All it proves is that nobody is perfect and that addiction can be overcome, it isn't easy but it is worth it.
