There is a way to stop it from tracking you. Just can't remember how I did it. Wife got so "gatvol" with the app that don't work that she eventually deleted it.
Try force stopping the app via the settings-app functionalty on your phone, might work.

Yep, one of those fake gps apps should do the trick. I've tested it with Facebook location and it works like a bomb.

'Lose' your phone by 'accident' and do a sim swap and insert new sim into a normal non smart phone for a few days. Then you can buy a new smartphone and not install that app, with hope that the wife and kids have forgotten about it

Wtf. There's an app that tracks you? Fuck I miss the days when people could only get ahold of you through a landline, if you weren't home, they were fresh out of fucking luck.
