I am also of the opinion that we could spend some time discussing various topics. For that reason alone I made you the open offer to join me at Montego's (when they open again) for oysters and wine.

I can also assure you that it will not just be one glass, as there is wisdom to be found at the bottom of a bottle. Why do you think everyone is so clever after a few drinks ?

Also be assured that more than one glass will be necessary to drink me pretty, I was told this in no uncertain terms fairly recently. From there stems my aversion to mirrors.

But then we shall be having an intellectual conversation, and looks really don't count then.

You see, I dislike intensively and I disagree with quite few of PeterBuck's opinions about some topics.
Hate is something I can't practice, but if I could, then I am sure I would not dislike but hate some of his opinions.
BUT Oh my God I LOVE him and every single piece of writing of him!! You can feel HIS PASSION, his HEART, you can feel him too. He channels a story through every word.

I am at a loss. Should I be offended or be grateful?

Just for the record, whenever I write something, it is usually the culmination of a few days pondering about it and then when time allows, I would pen it down.

I would however like to issue a blanket apology if anything I wrote offended you. It was never written to be derogatory in general, but specifically towards one person, who never reads this forum, and for which I issued a disclaimer before venting.

I am on the other hand a huge fan of your writing, and usually savours it after hours when time is more available to me to sit and concentrate on what you are writing.

Again my sincere apologies for offending you. It is however great that some people can disagree and still exist in the same space.

Would actually love to know exactly which opinions you hate so intensely. Please feel free to PM me.
