@ oral Jim
Most punters complain that there are no budget punts. When a lady now advertises her special it becomes a problem too. Where would u like us to advertise that we running special. Cos I'm pretty sure that's y it's called general discussion. .... it's sad that we as humans can never be satisfied no matter what the situation is....

Maybe Eddie and his team need too come up with a specials option when a lady is running one. Same as the availability option.

@Monika it is a solvable problem I am sure. It wouldn't be terribly hard for James to implement a checkbox that a girl can click to mark a topic as advertising. And then an option in a members profile where they can "opt out" of advertising, or perhaps "opt in" and have it on by default.

I personally have never asked about, nor would I, budget punts. But to use your own logic, advertising isn't general at ALL. It is very message and target specific. It is also not something one usually debates, which is (usually) the primary reason for a forum.

Lol I saw this today and thought ooooooooooooo Tanya keep your mouth shut x we advertise on the general forum because ppl seldom go to the venues or else where. Maybe esa admin can look into this to create a specials for the day separate advertizing colom.

But hey we one big happy family so let's leave things as is I mean if it was not allowed half of the Advertiser's would have gotten a slap on the wrist lol 😚kinky. Xxx

I am also siding with Naver and Oral.

There should be a section where specials can be announced/published. And definitely not on the General Forum.

Think it is pretty simple to put a new section in. You can even use the Official Announcement Section, just rename it, as there are almost no entries there.

Even the Reviews for Establishmenst are used for advertising. Move all of the advertising of specials into one forum. It will free up the General Forum, and also prevent the negativity of over-advertising, which is incidentally one of the principles that you as an advertiser should adhere to. Too much advertising could lead to negativity. Use it, don't use it.

I think it is becoming more a case of desperation creeping in, especially from the lower earners on the site. So unless this is addressed, you might end up with 1,000 specials being advertised daily on the general forum; do we really want that ?

But then for each his own.

Cheers

Just on this front page : 8 ads out of 25 topics.

32% of posts on the first page if you want to call that a representative sample.

I rest my case.

Cheers

I think it's a good idea then ppl don't have to scroll through general forum for specials and it can also heat up the competition between advertisers x x

Since the general discussion section is, I'm sure, the most utilised/busiest section on esa at the best of times, it makes more business sense for the girls to punt their business on it, regardless of negative feedback. For every shitty or negative comment, I'm sure each lady receives at least 5-10 calls on their post alone and it directs attention to their 1 ad in a sea of tits and ass!

Im sure those that have an issue with it have a scroll function! Don't be putting girls down for being enterprising in tough times! We pay for advertising, so advertise we will! It has nothing to do with personal taste and opinion as to what this forum should be! We have bills to pay and mouths to feed just like those of uou that afford us the privilege to do so!

Just saying.....
