Yes they are qualified in massages and other forms of loosening up this and taking out lots of knots but they are not physisians and cannot take an xray and define the problem properly, Physio knows, after looking xray what the possible problem could be. Do not put a qualified masseuse in the place of a qualified doctor physio. (i am also qualified but not to give out advice or try fix up the poor mans back) So think realisically on this one. A medical doctor needs to look at the chaps back, probably an injection (which i had to eliviate my pain once) so my dear go doc, first then he will decide on prob an xray, then, if necessary a physio. ...and working hand in hand with the bios, physios and chiros who refer one to a sport therapist is the continuation of body maintenance required be it due to injury, remission of an illness, professional sport activities and the like
Acupuncture/ dry needling too is part of my wellness programme and I DO work hand in hand with medical professionals.
When it comes to physiology, physicality and the anatomy...my Forte.
And nor do I care to impress ANYBODY or imagine I am something I am not.
What I am NOT is a beautician or somatolgist.....nor a spa masseuse.
