A friendly smile and friendly eyes being greeted by a kiss (read:genuine) as a first impression

Eye contact on meeting. So many people glance away, and I always remember the first look.

Not everyone is socially adept, some have problems dealing with people in the real world so have to turn to the purple world for the "intimate" social contact it can provide. For them eye contact is unfortunately very difficult

There is hardwired code in the brain, to overcome this requires such a force of will that the impression then given is not natural and you land up looking like a psycho. It is fr better to rather warn the lady in question that such an issue exists, if she is smart and compassionate enough she will understand and reap a far greater long term benefit from someone who acts naturally in her company than someone who has to force them self.

Don't ask a fish to fly or a bird to swim. very very few are genetically capable of doing so

I fully appreciate that Johndoe69za, it doesn't need to be a lingering gaze, just a little eye contact goes a long way! Even if only a brief glance on saying hello...
