I agree with yewrev. If a bush is an ABSOLUTE turn-off for a guy, then the onus is on HIM to ask upfront whether the lady is clean shaven, BEFORE scheduling an appointment.
I have been unshaven by choice, for as long as I have been in this industry. I only partially shave or trim once or twice a year, usually at beginning of winter and again at beginning of summer. Sure I know that many guys prefer clean shaven and I have had many clients nag me over the years to shave, but I have remained steadfast in keeping the bush.
Why?
1.Because if she was meant to be bald, no hair would be growing there in the first place.
2.Pubic hair is erotic to me, in that gentle touch of the pubic hair actually stimulates and enhances sensual feeling, as opposed to touching bare skin.
3.Minimizes risk in that there is no rashes, cuts and so on.

Nothing stops you from asking if she has a bush or not. So who us to blame, here, mmmm ..... think this one is on you. @cobra_za.
Age old saying of "never assume as you will make an ass out of u and me". I am sure if you have asked you would have had no regrets.
