Things have shifted. In the past if one of ladies dared to defend themselves they were hounded and basically slapped down.

Now it is the punters or maybe ladies and punters.

Rather just play nice. Public forum, plenty of anonymity allows for the trolls to play.

Yip, noticed that aswell recently. The forum seems to have changed over the past few months.
Still a good place to discuss all sorts of things, but think my time on this forum has come to an end :-/

That's such a pity because I enjoy your post's. You are one of the ladies I really admire

I find it amusing that in the past, when ladies were the ones who got attacked on the forum, most of the guys had no problem with it at all, whilst some advised the ladies to suck it up etc.

Now that the tables are reversed and the guys are the ones who are mainly on the receiving end of the abuse, they are not happy and are complaining that they are being attacked, with some even wanting to leave the forum because of it.

My advice to the guys, is the same advice the guys have always given the ladies`when they were attacked:
1.Suck it up and move on.
2.Accept that posting anything on an open forum leaves you open to attack.
3.Opinions differ and therefore being attacked is quite normal on a public forum.
4.Don't take it personal.

"South Africans are angrier than ever"

Just on a side-note to the above. I'd like to comment that on the roads, which we all do a lot, it is best never to get into any situation whatsoever.

Road rage is a terribe thing, you may just get angry at someone, you really never know who is at the other wheel, and things can so easily spiral out of control.

Everyone be safe.
