What worked for me is punting so much that it stopped being special.
I've now had one punt in maybe 4 months with no real interest to return. And even that last punt, we just spoke and when I was about to leave when the hour was up, she insisted that we at least get one round in.

It's not that difficult. Punting requires two this - time and money. It's that simple. So if you can find something to chip away at those two things and that gives you satisfaction at the same time, you'll be fine. So find something else to distract you or invest time and money in. Take up a hobby or an interest. And it doesn't have to be a girlfriend or have anything to do with sex. Also find out what drives you to punting and find something else that will fill that hole.

Like an addict hoping for a hit equivalent to that first one we keep coming back hoping that the punting scene can be like late 90s early 2000s but I am afraid it will never be.....especially if you are in Cape Town
