I while back I was running extremely late for a session. I repeatedly called her to change the time and eventually wanted to cancel because I felt I was wating her time.

The woman said that she was still happy to accommodate me an hour later but she asked if she could charge me an extra R200.

I was happy to pay her the extra money because I did waste her time and possible bookings for her. The way she went about it was professional and I was totally comfortable with it.

Some of the providers never cease to amaze me. I just called a young lady that i have not been to before. Nice profile pics BUT she was so unenthusiastic, boring sounding and mechanical on the phone that there is no way I'll book with her.
Ladies you have only a few opportunities to entice a client:
1st - your profile pics
2nd - how you write about yourself on your profile ("likes to please"" for e.g. is so boring its unlikely I'd call you)
3rd - how you come across on the phone - you need to sound super pleased that someone would like to spend their money with you. Describe yourself, what you offer and don't. Exude energy. A mechanical rote description is just an indication of what the experience will be like!

The freedom to charge whatever one wants is expected.

Personally I would kick myself in the foot if I ever hustled a client. Whether it's a first time punter or not.

To not complicate any situation and create problems for myself is to clearly state all requirements on first contact and make sure those areas are all covered. Whether I might charge for overtime or not (which I don't), whether it's 24/7 or not I should not leave such important pricing information out in writing or verbally.

Thank you too. From a punter's perspective it scares us as we immediately think we will get poor service and we will be hustled for every little thing during the booking, just as the guys said on this thread.

So yes it's important for a lady to state these things when a punter asks.

I'm not judging the lady or anything, just wanted to make sure if this is the norm or if I'm being too petty.

Like I said, I don't mind at all paying the extra amount. My biggest concern is the service received on the day.
