Does seem to me that not only was the language rule relaxed somewhat, but the age one as well.

So many kids on here splitting on others, does look like a primary school chat group.

My question was legitimate. I wanted to know if there were official rule changes. When I contacted admin after my banning I recieved quite a hostile reply. And one thread a while ago mentioned a "mass unbanning".

The person that was implementing the banning, was seriously trigger happy!
I also received a hostile reception to my phone call...until Matt intervened.
My first banning, I accepted and sat out the 30 days.

the second one was a bit ridiculous...as the lady could not comprehend that the Africaans word for bread has a totally different meaning in English.
Then Matt intervened and I was un-banned.
Note: Africaans deliberately spelt incorrectly-to avoid another banning.

I have to agree with you on that one @jjsoap!

Best thing is if you not sure ask the office, or just stick to English!

I am sometimes lost for the correct phrase to flatter a lady in English, but know it in a shared language*. Yet I don't post it because of the rule. I just stick to the "official" language, even if the rule is in my opinion a bit discriminatory. I come here for fun, so I toe the line and try not to stir.

*Many a time the lady I wanted to "sweet talk" was Meg :P
