Having a partner does help, but you got to have the right attitude towards it too... Pushing and coming across as too eager will not help. You have to be very patient and low key chill in this game.
SH definitely the best to join. But some clubs are active on social media now too. All you gotta do is look...

Here's some tips if you do manage to get yourself into a meet and greet or party-

1. I found that if your intention is to swing on day one,you're gonna be very disappointed.

2.Your swinging peers are going to check you out properly before they'll approach you (that is if you're not a unicorn) Please for the love of gawd, do not approach untill you're invited to do so.

3. You'll be nervous. Have a drink, but anything over tipsy will get you thrown out.

4. Don't go as a single dude.

5. Take it all in. Sit and watch. You'll learn so much by just watching.

6. Have fun in the voyeur area with your partner. Do not join others untill invited.

7. Ladies rule. You'll understand when going through initiation.

8. There's only 2 results after attending your first propper event and that is you'll either love it and be hooked. Or you'll hate it.

We've been in the swinging scene for quite some time. Swinging Heaven is a good start, but be warned that single guys have a tough time getting anywhere, except if you are ripped AF. You will soon notice this is more of a couples game, and couples are into this for personal and often selfish reasons, and only allow people into their space for those very specific reasons.

I was told about clubrome.co.za many moons ago but I was too scared to visit lol.

1. You search for the next best thing (ie the fetish place in sandton) and project ALOT of positive "You can do it" vibes to yourself in the mirror before,and wing it.

So what you are telling us is that one day when you're not able to do things like this anymore, for whatever reason, you'll be okay with the excuse you just used?

Years ago i decided to go and explore the swinging scene so i applied on the net. I waited for my invitation email and off i went. As a single guy i didnt know what to expect. The place i went to had the food and drinks included. ADVICE Dont order doubles to get drunk quick guys. Dutcman courage wont get you anywhere here. You have the whole night to drink.

Anyway i got there at 7.30. I only left the next morning around 6.30. I had so much fun even tho i didnt get lucky. I recieved an email the next week to say my membership has been approved so....

... The next week i was there again. Again as a single guy. But this time i got lucky.... A few times. I also went to celebrate my bday there. I went there atleast 3 times a month. It got better everytime i went. Most of the time as a single guy and sometimes i would phone in to arrange to bring a female friend with.

My advice

Dont expect anything
Treat the place as a normal club where u can just chill have drinks and mingle. This club was designed like that.
Saying hello to someone there is not a crime.
Just have fun and be yourself. (If you know u are a DOOS. Dont be yourself)

My conclusion

If i have to choose between a normal dance club and this place even if i dont get lucky EVER. I wil stil choose this place to go to. The people are just nicer more openminded etc.
In a normal club if u say hi to a girl, u might get "Bliksimed" by a jealous boyfriend. This does not happen in these clubs.
