To my knowledge 1 hour is 60 minutes, however it's spent it should still be 60 minutes.

I don't go back if I didn't get the time I paid for , I don't say anything , I just don't go back , that said I feel even a full hour is too short for a proper massage , so I see what the massage is like and if I like it, I extend it for one more hour about 15 mins into the first hour , I have found in most cases even clock watchers put in a little more effort if you book the second hour

To me the hour is from arrival till you leave, it does include any chit chat, shower before and after. Leaving the physical session to be about 45 minutes.
