If you go on ESA and scroll to.the bottom of the page it shows the available drop box. Click on there and it says Available right now.
Thats what the client sees.

But surely, if the girls weren't "available" (in the latest definition of it), then they wouldn't be advertising on ESA

This function was developed for the purpose of girls indicating that they are available and, thus, free to see clients at that specific time.

Not at all. It is 2 different screens altogether.

On the SP's screen it is an option to either make herself available to appear on the "Available Right Now" screen that we as punters see.

It is a matter of logic / interpretation.

Yes, agree. It is frustrating when a lady places her profile on "available right now" and you can't get hold of her right now for various reasons which may or may not be valid depending from which side your looking at it.

A real catch 22 scenario!

I believe it would go a long way in stopping confusion if the functionality of the website provides more options:
Available right now
Available today
Available in appointment
For example
Most of my clients are business people with meetings booked weeks in advance, so just as I plan my day so do they. Yes things happen and a punter might want to run off for a quicky so being able to destinguish will help everyone alot. I set myself as available when I am able to take calls. And book my sessions at times that suite the client

I think we underestimate how many calls the women actually get. Yes, not all calls materialize into bookings, but those calls from other guys are what's delaying your call being answered.

I interpret "available now" as I'm available now for you to make an appointment. Not necessarily 'I'm all dressed up with makeup for you to come through in ten minutes'.

YCF, it says "Available Right Now", not available sometime today. By your logic, does it mean all the other advertisers are not available to take appointments? I think it is a little disrespectful to the advertisers who are genuinely "available right now" to use the function as an "I'm available to make bookings" function. And for the punters, it means that the function has less and less meaning and usefulness...

Just my opinion, though.
