A better option than lowering the price would be removing racial ROAR policies. Just a suggestion if things get too tough.

I always wonder when clients suggest that we lower our prices when the economy is bad, how they get to that conclusion?

Do you think that there is some secret society or code that we wg's live by that is different to yours? Do you think we get a special card like a pensioner's discount club?

We don't get cheaper petrol, we pay the same as you do for rent, electricity, a loaf of bread, school fees, doctor's etc. Our cost of living goes up just the same as yours? As does the price of condoms, lubes, essential oils, shower gels, wet wipes and sex toys?

And there is less disposable income so clients that used to see the ladies once a week are now only seeing them every second week?

We are all affected just as you are. Are you lowering your prices in your perspective businesses?

But look at it objectively... most SPs make more tax free than most punters. There are many girls raking in serious income.

My question is why when the economy goes down, the WG or MG's have to lower their prices? Why should we take the punch or blow?.

Does some punters really think that the economical climate affects them more than us - the working/massage girls.

We have more or less the same expenses....if not more, than the punters. Most of us have house rent, cars, policies and we also pay school fees, medical ect.

Like Arizona said we too have expenses just as punters, and we need to upkeep our place of work, for example clean towels, descent shower facilities etc. If that is not up to standard punters are quick to complain.

Some Service Providers have 1 client per week, so how do you expect her to survive, let alone drop her fees. It is not a lack of service, more an influx of ladies advertising. This business has grown a lot because the ladies need to survive and provide.....and now fees should fall!!!!!

Should we start using towels 3-4 times before washing it? Should we start using a cheap bar of soap? Should we start using cheep condoms? Where do you as punters think should we start cutting costs...so that we can start cutting prices?

I think the suggestion is that at lower prices, you may have higher income. 3 clients at R1000 gives an income of R3000. But 4 clients at R800 or R900 gives R3200 or R3600. Obviously more work servicing more clients.

Thing is, there is no guarantee that lower price results in more clients....Each girl has to figure out her own situation.

No that is not what i am implying. I can give you this analogy. Being in the legal fraternity i can tell you that even top dollar legal counsel are more often are quite amenable to accomedate the guy in the street realising that the average plebeian simply do not have the financial resources what he had few years ago.
