The chances of you getting mugged in Singapore are up there with being struck by lightening while claiming your winning lottery ticket. OK maybe not THAT unlikely but you get the idea. it is very safe.

Same rules as everywhere else, don't flash the cash, if someone seems a bit dodgy stay away and make sure you try the street food. (that's not a euphemism, the food is really excellent)

I am going to be in Orchard Road and Katong. Where can I find the street food?

@ JACKRIBET, The street food is all over the place. If you are not the adventurous type just ask who ever is at the front desk or door for directions to their favorite place and start there. Otherwise just dive in Sir!

What about Geylang. I heard that the action is cheaper there. I read of some murders at the orchard towers at Ipanema club some years ago. Scary to go there on your own.

I think you should stay in your room....watch DSTV for the next 2 nights. Don't go outside (except if you have to go smoke or something).

Ask at reception if they have a PS3 for you...time will fly that way.

Never heard of murders at the Ipanema World Music Bar, to give it its rightful name. the place is awesome.

You will always get a duffus or two but you just don't get involved.

There is always great music, incredibly attractive women and people just like you. Its a big place so what ever you are like there will probably be some one like you there!

Seriously bru, its a fine place, not some where you need worry about. Its a haunt whenever I am in that part of the world, last time in November 2017. Its been there for years.

Finally landed in Singapore. Thank God they could fit me in with my room at 09:30 am instead of 3 pm as is the usual standard. Now the fun begins. Going for a nap before checking the action later tonight.
