Hm ok it says in the book that JZ lived in Forest Hill. I think he meant Forest Town. Forest Hill (where I grew up) is just south of Turffontein; Forest Town is by the zoo.

My exact thought too. I persevered, and got quite far, but gave up. Page after page after page of detail of who said what to whom. And all the good bits are pure innuendo anyway.
How that guy made a career out of writing, I do not know. I wonder how good a chef he is?

Am three quarters way through and am very angry at the way these gangsters basically have a shadow government, are untouchable and steal our hard earned tax money. It is not just No 1 but a whole team around him. Civil society will be the ones who will eventually take them down but what will be left of the country by then! Good read though!
