I have been treated for severe depression. I know what it is like. And jokes aside, I found punting gave me an outlet.Find a WG you like and have great sex. It worked for me. And I reiterate, I am dead serious. It helps that I also love punting, seeing as I don't get it at home.

dont give up Sniper.
Yes sex helps because you release serotonin.Short term.

I am a therapist who works directly with the subconscious mind (95% of your brain) R1000 2.5/3hrs. Direct guided visualization process bypasses the story.
I also do reiki/metamorphic healing and other work. These usually take much longer to take effect. The same goes for EFT/NLP work which are also repetitive. I have worked with WG before.
Depression is emotion turned down or blanketed over time ie not feeling what needs to be felt.
If you serious about healing go to Butch Meier @Splendour 307 ondekkers RD. He is brilliant with diagnostics and only gives natural products. When I was suicidal 2014 and anti-depressants didn't work (SARS shit) he diagnosed my adrenals weren't working so my body didn't produce cortisol. Then i could look at the deeper issues.
Good luck

Too many messages to quote, so I'll post it all here. Thanks for all the replies. I am currently seeing a psychiatrist, 4th one in two years to be exact, and it seems she's on the right path as far as medication goes. I have also seen therapists many times, and will start seeing a new one in January that was recommended by my current psychiatrist. I was merely looking for something extra. For one thing, punting has helped a lot with my social anxiety. More than any therapist. I'm just at my wit's end that despite the medication and therapy I still suffer from anxiety attacks. Last night's one was very severe. I'm simply trying to utilise every tools available to me. Thanks for all the PM's too. I will read through them all when time allows. Bottom line, I feel like I need to relearn how to relax completely, as my brain rarely switches off.

@sniperviper sorry to hear you are struggling. Its a good thing to reach out. Please don't give up on yourself - Keep On Fighting!

Have you tried to compliment your treatment with something like yoga and learning breathing techniques?. I also suffer from an array of anxiety and PTSD. Medication plays a part in helping but I have found for myself that breathing techniques learnt in yoga has helped me. Also I took part in the fire dance earlier this year- which instigated a while lot of processing. Which was needed. Please give yourself and anything you try a chance as well. There are no quick fixes or surface fixes. Remember you got to do the hard work to discover why you feel the way you do and then you can work on that.

Please know that if you are taken by suicide - the loss of You will be felt. Please rather phone someone, reach out...

Out if all the variations of your DNA that could have been - the version that is YOU won out - YOU are unique babe! You are meant to be!

Please don't give up on yourself - we are here for you!!!

Hugs and kisses...

a last message.. don't over think it!!!
the natu're of the mind is doubt fear and judgment.
move towards PRESENT MOMENT AWARENESS ie concentrate on the NOW. simple breathing for high anxiety.(thru the nose IN 4 secs HOLD 6secs Out for 4 secs..repeat 4-6times.
if the mind wonders then concentrate on the flow of air.anxiety is partly the fear of the future/unknown. been thru tons of shit and found
1)drugs are ultimately a crutch and a mask
2)psychology keeps u in story.
@Victoria I love your sense of being and support. only those who have been to the edge can understand(I am around the corner in cresta

I know exactly how that feels dude, I have been battling depression and all that goes with it for almost 27 years. Suicide thoughts are sometime as commonplace as trying to figure out what to have for dinner. THe thing with it is that its like riding a roller coaster, when you're up its ok, even liveable but when you feel down on the day, it feels like your in the ninth circle of hell. And its a lot easier to think of all the negatives in ones life and none of the positives. Not fun at all. Just take it one day at a time. That and a good psychologist might keep you sane.
